FAQ's
1. How does the Lobster Bucks program work? For every 10.00 you spend (excluding shipping charges) you will earn $1.00 in lobster bucks good towards your next order. Whenever you order something from Boston Lobster Feast an account will be created with your email address. Once you place a second order your email address will be recognized and you will have the opportunity to redeem Lobster Bucks or to keep accruing the bucks.
2. When do lobster bucks expire? Lobster Bucks will never expire unless you delete your account.
3. What if I lose my account password? Simply put your email address in the box during checkout , leaving the password field blank and your password will be emailed to you.
4. Do I have to order online? No, you may also call 1-800-980-8584 between 10:00am & 9:00pm EST. We will gladly take your order over the phone.
5. How do I cook a lobster? A lobster or clambake only takes about 20 minutes to cook. See chart below:
Cooking Lobsters
Add 1 – 2 inches of salted water to bottom of stockpot or steamer. Bring water to rolling boil. Add lobsters and cover. Start timing when water boils again. See cooking chart below.
Cooking Clambakes
Start cooking everything but the clams. Wait until you have at least 10 minutes left, and then add the clams. Your clambake is done when the clams are fully open. Discard any clams that are broken or didn’t open.

1 Pound Lobster 14 minutes
1.25 Pound Lobster 12 – 20 minutes
1.5 Pound Lobster 17 – 20 minutes
2 Pound Lobster 12 – 24 minutes
Clam Cooking Times
Steamers (softshell) 6 – 10 minutes
Littlenecks (hardshell) 6 – 10 minutes
6. What’s the difference between the clambakes & lobster dinners? Each clambake or lobster dinner starts off with 1 ¼ pound live Maine Lobsters. Any dinner package starting with “Jumbo” comes with 1 ½ pound lobsters. Any package starting with “colossal” comes with 2 pound live lobsters.
7. Do you accept credit cards? Yes, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express & Discover.
8. Can I track my order? Yes, we will email you a tracking number as soon as your shipping label is printed out.
9. Do I have to be home for delivery? No, the UPS driver will leave it on your door. Please don’t let it sit in the sun for long. Have a neighbor bring it in, or we can ship it to your work.
10. Can I use my own shipping account number?Yes, you may use your own FedEx or UPS Account. PLease call our 800 number at the top of the screen to order.
